About Tweeterhead

Who are Tweeterhead?

Tweeterhead is a collectibles studio that designs and makes officially licensed maquettes and statues. It is known for energetic, action-packed poses and a bold, comic-inspired style that captures the spirit of classic characters.

What Tweeterhead makes

Tweeterhead specialises in maquettes. A maquette is a fully sculpted, hand-painted statue rather than an articulated figure, posed dynamically and mounted on a themed base. Tweeterhead's maquettes are cast in polyresin and usually stand around half a metre tall, at scales such as 1/5 and 1/6. Many are limited editions, and some include swappable portraits or accessories so you can change the look of your display.

Licences and characters

Our Tweeterhead range covers two much-loved universes. The Legends maquette line brings heroes and villains from Masters of the Universe to life on bases inspired by Eternia, while the DC Comics range includes classic Batman designs.

Choosing a Tweeterhead maquette

Plan for a substantial display piece. At around 50 cm tall, and often wide because of their dynamic poses, Tweeterhead maquettes suit a deep shelf, plinth or large glass cabinet. Legends maquettes share a consistent scale, so they look great displayed together as a growing collection. Good lighting makes a real difference: a warm LED strip above the shelf brings out the sculpted muscle detail and the painted highlights. Keep the original packaging, as it is the safest way to store or move a maquette later. Display polyresin statues away from direct sunlight and heat, and dust with a soft brush.
