What is a prop replica?

A prop replica is a faithful recreation of an object seen on screen, made for display. Licensed makers often work from studio reference, scans or original production materials to match the shape, finish and weathering. A 1:1 replica is the same size as the prop used in the film, which is why life-size pieces are the most sought after by serious collectors. Weapon replicas are non-functional display pieces. Helmet replicas in this range are display items rather than wearable helmets.

Choosing the right prop replica

Choose a prop replica by size, display method and edition. A 1:1 life-size helmet suits a stand or shelf, while a rifle replica around 70 cm long is best on a wall mount or display stand. 1/6 scale vehicles match the scale of sixth scale figures, so they work well alongside an action figure collection, but they are large. Limited edition replicas are often individually numbered and may include a certificate of authenticity. Each product page lists the dimensions, materials and what is included.
